Sarah Knapp, daughter of Joshua & Charity Knapp,
died December 2, 1836.
O'er the grave we shed the tears
For nature words unbound
The sacred spot we tread with care,
For it is holy ground.
The tears still flow our hearts do not repine
Their grave shall be to us earth's time
And whilst their absence oft we do deplore
We yet will meet to part again no more.
The unsettled dust shall rise again
And be like Jesus blest
The soul is with the unbound train
For heaven its peaceful rest.
